Mexica Art
Nino paints Mexica images and graffiti text to create multimedia works of art. Many times he likes to keep them both separated in style, form, identity, look and presentation. Most of his drawings reflect Mexica (Mexico/Mesoamerica) culture, religion, art and ideology. The boxes BELOW represent a combination of graffiti and Mexica art form his collection.
All his art work is original with some changes to how it was to be interpreted and displayed during their time. He is trying to present art that was once common only to the elite and powerful rulers of Mexico, now only common in museums, books and film. His passion keeps going back to graffiti and Mexica art. Finally, he wants to preserve art and ideas of Mesoamerican culture through his own personal creations. |
